Julie Smith, Business Manager
My name is Julie Smith. I was born and raised in Muskegon and graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1981. I have spent 33 years in the dental field, from assisting to treatment coordinating to management.
Helping people receive the care they need has always been a passion of mine. With chiropractic care included in my personal health regimen, joining Dr. Leyder's team, to promote wellness for all, has been a great opportunity.
My interests outside of work are spending time with my family and pets. I enjoy camping, gardening, crafting, and billiards.
Laurie Holliday, Front Office Manager
I was born and raised in Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School with my area of study being Medical Office & Medical and Dental Billing & Coding. I worked for a major insurance company as a Medical & Dental Claims Specialist for 20 years before declining a relocation to Utah with my department. I returned to school to purse my nursing passion and procured my National licensure as a Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, and Electrocardiogram Technician in addition to my BLS/AED certifications. I spent the next 9 years as an Operations Manager for an Assisted Living & Independent Living facility where I managed a nursing team of 32. I began working for Dr. Leyder in 2018 as an office manager. Since this time, I have gained a sincere appreciation for the chiropractic field, its misconceptions, and the relief and overall wellness I witness on a daily basis. Dr. Leyder is caring and compassionate and this carries over to her staff as well. I feel fortunate to be a part of a team with the same goal of helping others. I enjoy speaking with current patients and look forward to meeting new people daily. During my time away from work, I enjoy our pool, trail riding, and camping but most of all just spending time with my husband, children, friends, & family.
